    Very lightweight and accurate I did prefer to cock it Manually because it’s almost a lb lighter without the accu-draw attached and I did find a way to decock it safely but you need a second person.

    Since my orthopedic surgeon told me my shoulder would no longer allow me to shoot even my Matthews compound bow any longer I opted for an Invader 400 and have not regretted the decision. I read the owner’s manual three times first and then went through the bow step by step with it laying on a table in an effort to familiarize myself with the complexities. I was shocked at the bolt speed down range and how accurately it shoots. After 15 shots to zero in, I’m shooting one inch groups at 20 yards and am anxiously waiting to extend my targets out to 30, 40, 50+ yards. The trigger pull is clean and the bow shoots smoothly and the “recoil” is a pleasant surprise. Oh, and the AccuDraw really saves wear and tear on my bad shoulder.

    From day one this crossbow has delivered exceptional performance. I purchased this unit in 2014. Replaced the string just recently. It has shot perfect every year with no adjustments. From Deer, Hogs and Coyote it has given me pride to carry this crossbow into the woods every season. Shortly after I had my crossbow. It found its alignment and center (scope sight-in) within the first half a dozen shots and has been hunt ready no matter how long its been since the last shot (whether its been a few days or many months). I haven’t been able to down any animals as of yet but my father barrowed it and has had success on a few freezer does. We are both amazed at the speed and quietness of this crossbow. It is a huge jump over my 1st crossbow, The Horton Stalker, back in the early 90’s.

    The one I bought a few years ago has the built in cocking device, and came with a scope. I have taken several whitetail deer with it here in the Ozark Mountains of NW Arkansas and in the Arkansas river valley. I would highly recommend to anyone, new or avid hunter. I’m confident with mine out to 50 yards, running the Easton XX75’s and GrizzlyStik 200grain xxl’s. Always a pass through and don’t worry about angling shots, it never checks up. Love this crossbow.     I looked at all brands and kept on coming back to the invader 400. From the moment you hold it up to your shoulder it feels like an extension of your arm. One of the lightest, easiest cocking xbows and definitely very quiet even without suppressors. It does not use a retention brush to hold the arrow in place instead it uses a retention spring. Much more reliable and will not freeze and I hunt in -30. I am hitting quarters at 60yrds all day. 140lbs of kinetic energy is phenomenal. This xbow has everything that a $3000 xbow has easy. I used my last xbow for 20 yrs and this will exceed that I’m sure. Love it! I hunt Turkey, Western Big Game (Elk, Mule Deer, Pronghorn), Bear, Whitetail Deer, Moose, Other.

    this crossbow i’ve had the last 5 years -i’ve falling face down on the ground by a peace of barb wire on the ground i just knew the scope would be broke or way off-it was still perfect-cocking device in handle easy to draw bow string with-with equal pressure-safety worked great-and what power usually went straight threw the deer withmassive damage.     I always wanted to hunt with a bow. I was torn between compound and crossbow. With 3 kids and working night shift I knew I wouldn’t have time to constantly practice like a compound bow typically requires so I chose to work extra and save up money to get a crossbow. Definitely the correct choice!!!! The Invader 400 is so accurate!! I take about 30-45 min at the beginning of each season to make sure it’s still accurate. But honestly since the first day I sighted it in, I haven’t needed to mess with anything. I keep it stored correctly and make sure it’s lubed up and the strings are good and I’ve never been off shooting it. I love my crossbow and would recommend it to anyone beginner or experienced.     This year (2022 hunting seasons) I went after turkey to no avail. I went after deer to no avail. Given these are my primary hunts I was very discouraged. Why Equalizing the Weight of Non-Lighted Arrows is Important

When choosing Firenock lighted nocks you have an option use the weight match nock system.

There is roughly a 23 grain difference when adding Firenock lighted nocks. It can result in lower impacted points at distances of 30 yards and beyond, and also change your front of center percentages.

There is a simulated weight that attaches to your nock just the same as the lighted nock that will make all of the nocks weigh the same. This will ensure your arrows all fly the same.
